Chinese president to visit four nations

Chinese President Hu Jintao is to make state visits to Poland, Hungary,
Romania and Uzbekistan from June 8 to 18, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Liu
Jianchao made the announcement here Saturday.
Hu is to tour the nations at the invitation of Polish President Aleksander
Kwasniewski, Hungarian President Madl Ferenc, Romanian President Ion Iliescu,
and Uzbekistani President Islam Abduganiyevich Karimov, Liu said.
During his visit, Hu will also attend the Tashkent summit meeting of the
Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Liu said.
