Food companies to have processing records As learned from State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) production and management record demonstration version for food companies is being drafted and the processing process of food production companies would have records. By now Production and Management Record Demonstration Version for Wheat Flour Processing Companies, Production and Management Record Demonstration Version for Baby Milk Powder Companies and Production and Management Record Demonstration Version for Pork Companies have been drafted and would be tried out in some pilot companies by the end of this year. As learned starting from July China National Association of Grain Sector, China Meat Association and Children Food Society have drafted production and management record demonstration versions for wheat flour, pork and baby milk powder processing companies, based on subject survey and according to relevant laws and regulations, department regulations and State or trade standards. The versions cover various links including basic management work and raw material purchase, production and processing, sales and after service etc, which require companies to make comprehensive, impartial and detailed records of the system implementation of above mentioned links. Hui Lusheng, deputy director-general of the SFDA, said the drawing of demonstration versions is to trim and conform relevant laws and regulations and standards to make them more orderly and systematic so that they are more operational for the companies. All the requirements are basic ones, which the companies should live up to and are totally doable for the companies. These original records would become the basis for relevant departments to conduct supervision and management on food production companies and create conditions for the establishment of company credit records. |
