China to test index futures system

The Shanghai-based China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) has said it will test the stock index futures system during the coming weekends of March 13-14 and March 20-21.
Under the direction of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the CFFEX will join hands with the other exchanges and deposit monitoring centers to test trading, as well as settlement and deposit processing, according to an announcement from the CFFEX.
Tests on the CFFEX members and drills to deal with emergencies will also be carried out during the four days, according to the CFFEX.
