After meeting with Mayor Ray Nagin, Actor Brad Pitt walks out of City Hall. Pitt is in town to promote a design contest he's working on with Global Green USA.

After meeting with Mayor Ray Nagin, Pitt announced a project with Global Green USA. The international design contest will bring new environmental friendly housing to the city.

The contest is already underway, with winning designs to be built in New Orleans.

Brad Pitt called April 20 for people to submit proposals for an environmentally friendly design competition he is sponsoring to rebuild parts of New Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

"We could possibly build something that was better and took into account the historical traditions of the city and the voices of the people and turn this into some kind of good," the actor added.

Pitt said he has a huge interest in architecture.
