Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack" retained its lead on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a sixth week Thursday, while a new tune from the 'N Sync alumnus surged toward the top 10, according to Billboard.

"My Love" featuring T.I., a track from Timberlake's second solo album "FutureSex/LoveSounds," rose nine places to No. 16.

A record was broken this week on the Hot 100, as hip-hop act Akon achieves the largest climb in the chart's 48-year-history with "Smack That" featuring Eminem, which rocketed 88 places to No. 7, fueled by sales of 67,000 digital downloads. The old record -- 82 places -- was set by the "High School Musical" track "Breaking Free" in February.

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, albums king Ludacris' "Money Maker" featuring Pharrell held at No. 2, while Oklahoma hard rock band Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" jumped two to No. 3. The Fray's "How To Save a Life" slipped one to No. 4. Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" edged up one to No. 5.

Fergie's "London Bridge" fell two to No. 6, while Jibbs' "Chain Hang Low" held at No. 8, Nickelback's "Far Away" jumped two to No. 9 and Chingy's "Pullin' Me Back" featuring Tyrese slipped one to No. 10.

Nelly Furtado's "Maneater" is the Hot 100's greatest sales gainer, rising 37-30, and

The top debut belonged to "Weird Al" Yankovic's "White & Nerdy" (No. 28), a parody of Chamillionaire's "Ridin'." Yankovic also earned his highest charting album ever this week, as "Straight Outta Lynwood" bowed at No. 10 on The Billboard 200.

Also debuting on the Hot 100 were Janet Jackson's "So Excited" featuring Khia (No. 90), Nickelback's "Rockstar" (No. 94), Akon's "I Wanna Love You" featuring Snoop Dogg (No. 95), the All-American Rejects' "It Ends Tonight" (No. 97), Cherish's "Unappreciated" (No. 98) and Christina Aguilera's "Hurt" (No. 100).

After reclaiming the pole position on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Janet Jackson and Nelly's "Call on Me" slid to No. 6, as Chris Brown's "Say Goodbye" jumped three rungs to the top.

Paulina Rubio's "Ni Una Sola Palabra" notched a third week atop Hot Latin Songs, while Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" remained atop Adult Contemporary for a fifth.

On Hot Country Songs, Josh Turner's "Would You Go With Me" seized the peak position from George Strait's "Give It Away," which dropped to No. 3 after two weeks atop the chart.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Tell Me" held at No. 1 on the Modern Rock tally for a fourth week, and Stone Sour's "Through Glass" led Mainstream Rock for the same span.
