Kim Kardashian can't wait to have children with her new husband Kris Humphries.
The 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' star - who tied the knot with the basketball ace earlier this month after a whirlwind romance - has told pals she is keen to start a family as soon as possible.
Close friend Lisa Gastineau told US Weekly: "She wants babies. Let's cross the fingers. And her mom wants her to have babies quick.
"She will be a great mom. She is very nurturing."
Lisa also believes Kris, 26, will be a fantastic father and says the pair couldn't be happier because the athlete is more than a match for his fiery wife.
She added: "He adores Kim. I wish that every girl that I know had someone that adores her. Just the way he looks at her. He's so cool. He stands up to her. Kim is a little dynamo. It is amazing, it is a fun, fun relationship watching them."
Kim, 30 - who was married to music producer Damon Thomas for four years until 2004 - has previously revealed the couple hope to start trying for children in the near future.
She said: "I'm sure at some point in the next year I'll want to have babies, so I have to get into my best shape before that.
"Maybe we'll start trying at the end of the year. After the wedding."
