To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, a photo show entitled “The Joy Happy Family - the journey that 56 Chinese ethnic groups have gone through over past years”was held in Beijing.
The photo show was jointly organized by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and China Photographers Association and supported by China Photo Press, Nationality Pictorial, China Pictorial, and Wangfujing Area Construction and Management Office.
The Korean Chinese live mostly in Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang. Koreans in the Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture of Jilin speak Korean, while Korean people in other places of China usually speak both Korean and Chinese. As of 2000, there are more than 1 million Chinese Koreans living in the country.
