4. The ball did well
南非世界杯上的足球“普天同慶”引來諸多爭議，本次世界杯不會使用有問題的足球。2014年巴西世界杯官方比賽用球 “桑巴榮耀”在設(shè)計上有所不同， 開創(chuàng)性的球面結(jié)構(gòu)技術(shù)，給人的感覺近乎一個籃球。這一想法大概是想為比賽帶來更好的場上控球、觸球、穩(wěn)定性。我們在圣保羅看到的情況似乎中規(guī)中矩。未來巴西人的舉措還有待觀察，最重要的是，大多數(shù)球員似乎很相信這個球。
With so much controversy over the unpredictable Jabulani in South Africa, we can do without another dodgy ball. The Brazuca is a little different in design, verging on the feel of a basketball with its groundbreaking pimples. The idea, presumably, is to give a football boot more traction when it connects, allowing the player more scope for manipulation. And from what we saw in Sao Paulo it seems to be behaving. Undue movement in the air has yet to be seen. The players, most importantly, seem to trust this ball.
