Russia: Father Frost and Snow Maiden

Similar to the Western Santa Claus, Russia has a kind grandfather called Father Frost. Father Frost's costume is long, a little different from Western Santa Claus. Besides, Father Frost always make an appearance with his granddaughter, the Snow Maiden who wears traditional pearl crown and brings best wishes to children. In Russia, Father Frost and the Snow Maiden are indispensable in the Christmas celebration.

俄羅斯：冰之父和雪姑娘

和西方的圣誕老人相似，俄羅斯也有自己的圣誕老人，叫“冰之父”。不過，“冰之父”永遠(yuǎn)都和自己的孫女——“雪姑娘”一起出現(xiàn)。雪姑娘戴著傳統(tǒng)的珍珠王冠，給孩子們送去美好的祝福。這兩個(gè)人物是俄羅斯圣誕節(jié)不可缺少的一部分。
