How do you use the word 'available'?

It's often used when planning to meet people:

• Are you available tomorrow?

Or when booking things like accommodation and tickets:

• Do you have any single rooms available for tonight?

You'll hear it being used in shops like this:

• Is this shirt available in pink?

And you can even use it to ask if someone is single:

• She's lovely. Is she available? I’d like to get to know her better.
