This is how some people feel about giving and receiving flowers:

One woman said it made her feel happy 高興. Whilst another man said he preferred to give flowers because it was a simple gift 簡(jiǎn)單的禮物 to give and you can't go too wrong 不會(huì)出大錯(cuò).

Another woman thought getting flowers was a romantic gesture 一種浪漫的表示 and one man described them as a fresh and bright gift that cheer people up 讓人感到快樂(lè).
