"Chong Wu Bao”"（寵物寶）by Ping An: This is a comprehensive scheme that covers a pet's medical costs, third-party liability insurance, the advertising fee for searching for a lost animal and an allowance for its death. It has three fee options of 680 yuan, 1,280 yuan and 1,980 yuan a year. It applies to dogs aged from two months to nine years old and cats aged between two months and 11 years old while dog's license is not required. But the pet needs to be vaccinated within a year and there's an observation period of 30 days before owners are able to ask for a payout by Ping An. "Chong Le Bao"（寵樂保）by PICC: This is a national scheme that covers regions such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Nanjing. By paying an annual fee between 450 yuan and 3,380 yuan, owners can get coverage for 132 diseases for their animals and obtain a premium of 5,000 yuan to 50,000 yuan.
