As an agricultural province and a major grain producing region, Jilin shoulders the great responsibility of guaranteeing China’s national food security.

Two years ago, President Xi Jinping clearly showed the direction for the development of Jilin agricultural modernization.

As part of a comprehensive deepening of rural reform, Jilin province promoted socialist new countryside construction.

Many reforms were implemented, such as rural collective property rights, State-owned forest farms, agricultural reclamation, and marketing cooperatives.

The rural living environment was improved, and the construction of infrastructure and social programs continued to speed up.

Projects to increase wealth, including "Beautiful Country" construction and rural tourism, were reinforced.

Thanks to the vigorous development ofits villages, Jilin is now capable of leadingagricultural modernization and will continue to drive its construction to higher levels.
