Conditions and procedures that the foreign company applies for setting up a branch in China

A foreign company shall meet the following conditions when it sets up a branch in China: 1) nominate an agent or a representative to be in charge of this branch in China; 2) allocate funds necessary to undertake this operation to this branch; 3) the branch shall be marked with nationality and mode of responsibility as well as company rules and regulations.

The procedures are roughly as follows: 1) preparation for establishment; 2) application; 3) ratification; 4) registration and publicizing.
