Starting from December, 2010, Hainan province carried out the special action of “Anti-Counterfeiting to Protect IP,” which has achieved promising preliminary results. The special action mainly focuses on the protection of copyright, trademark, patent and plant varieties, and the areas involved are respectively press and publishing, the entertainment industry, high-tech industry and agriculture.
