The First Sino-Russian Auto Forum was held in Beijing on October 25th and 26th under the support and guidance from Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) of China and Center for Strategic Research (CSR) of Russia. The forum was co-organized by DRCNET, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and SOLO Consulting Group from Russia. As a grand event for the automobile industry from both countries, the forum received close attention and was attended by over 400 participants of the automobile circles from the two countries. Officials, entrepreneurs and experts from China and Russia met together to discuss the trade and cooperation in the auto industry from both countries in an all-round way, including policies, market, quality, accreditation, customs, logistics and corporate strategies. Dr. Liu Shijin, Vice President of DRC, was present and addressed the meeting. Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of International Cooperation Department of DRC presided over the meeting. Dr. Feng Fei, Director General of DRC’s Research Department of Industrial Economy, delivered a keynote speech and the Deputy Director General, Dr. Shi Yaodong, made the concluding remarks.
