On April 19th, a seminar named “Strengthening and Preparing China’s Securities Market for the Era of Full Circulation of Shares”, co-organized by DRC’s International Cooperation Department and Tokyo Club Foundation for Global Studies from Japan, was convened in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Dr. Sun Xiaoyu, Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee for Economy of CPPCC delivered an opening speech. Other Chinese participants included officials and research fellows from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), China Security Regulatory Commission, Securities Association of China, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, equity fund, and DRC’s Research Institute of Finance. Among the Japanese participants were Mr. Junichi Ujiie, Chairman of Nomura Holdings and President of Tokyo Club Foundation, and Mr. Yutaka Yamaguchi, former Vice Governor of Bank of Japan, as well as researchers from Nomura Institute of Capital Markets Research.
