On April 8-9, the 15th China-France Economic Conference, co-sponsored by Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and France-China Committee, was held in Beijing. Mme. Chen Zhili, Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former French Prime Minister, and several hundred Chinese and French delegates attended the conference.
