On June 19, Vice President Liu Shijin met with the delegation of People’s Party from European Parliament, leaded by Mr. Mayor Oreja, Vice Chairman of People’s Party. Vice President Liu introduced the current Chinese economic performance and its future development. Both sides also exchanged views on the development of Sino-EU trade relations. Mr. Hou Yongzhi, Director General of the Research Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy and Mr. Chen Changsheng, Senior Research Feloow of Research Department of Macro-economy, were present at the meeting.
