Abstract:
The stationery industry is a typical labor-intensive sector with great growth potential. Through visiting some of China's stationery manufacturers, the authors have found that the stationery industry has made impressive progress in the areas of research and development, branding, supply chain service integration and business models.
As a typical traditional industry, the stationery industry brings much inspiration to other traditional industries, in the respects of corporate restructuring and upgrading.
The authors suggest all companies in traditional sectors enhance research & development and protect cultural creativity in order to construct an industrial service platform. Firms need to become stronger through capital market innovation and improve the quality and level of industrial transfer.
