A study of opinions and suggestions on government-enterprise relations and increased economic reforms has found that 70.7 percent of enterprises believe that the key to economic reforms is creating better relations between government and enterprises and changing government's functions.

The survey was done by the Enterprise Research Institute of the Development Research Center of the State Council.

The field research shows strong calls for better government-enterprise relations and, according to enterprises, some of the problems between the two have existed for years, while others have appeared in the new situation. So, this old question of government-enterprise relations is still getting attention.
