Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL),directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, is a higher learning institution which specializes in economics, law, and management and also has other disciplines such as literature, history, philosophy, science, and technology. It is the combination of the former Zhongnan University of Economics and the former South Central Institute of Political Science and Law and is now included in China's 100 universities for priority construction in the 21st century (the State "Project 211"-the main objective of this objectis to strengthen around 100 of China's 1000 institutions of higher education into key-universities, ''211' STANDS FOR 21ST century and '1'hundred universities.).
At present, there are approximately 2,3000 full-time students, including postgraduate students, and 11,900 adult and part-time students. The university covers more than 3,000 mu (about 207 hectares), has a collection of more than 2 million books. As one of the earliest universities joining the campus network, ZUEL pocesses the national and global information retrieval system and offers its students ready access to the cyber world. It has two campuses: the Shouyi Campus, under the historically famous Yellow Crane Tower, and the South Lake Campus, by the side of the beautiful Nanhu Lake.ZUEL accommodates a group of scholars with remarkable academic attainments and international and domestic influence in the academic worlds of finance, economics and law. It has establishedreliable communication and cooperating relationship and research institutes from dozens of countries and areas.
ZUEL consists of 12 schools, offering 34 majors, 41 master and 24 doctorate programs. In addition, there are 3 postdoctoral mobile centers at ZUEL. Senior Advanced Study: Within 1 Year, 18,000 yuan
Other in-service trainee not to issued academic certificate: at least 2 weeks, 2000 yuan for 2 weeks; 500yuan for each additional week.
