Fuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (FETDZ, 福州經(jīng)濟技術開發(fā)區(qū)) was established in January 1985 with the approval of the State Council. It is listed as one of the 14 economic and technological development zones in China and enjoys preferential policies.
Fuzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone (FHTZ, 福州高新技術開發(fā)區(qū)) was launched in 1991 with the approval of the State Council. It is among the first group of state-level high-tech zones.
Featuring joint development of land and sea ports, airports and cruise homeports, Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone (中國（福建）自由貿易試驗區(qū)廈門片區(qū), XMFTZ) comprises the Haicang Port Area of the Southeast International Shipping Center and the Core Area of the Cross-straits Trade Center.
Jointly established by State Science and Technology Commission and Xiamen Municipal Government in December 1990, Xiamen Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone (XTHIDZ, 廈門火炬高新區(qū)) was elevated by the State Council in 1991 into a state-level high-tech industrial development zone. It’s one of the three industrial zones of the nation’s Torch Program and comprises a total of 8 industrial parks.
Xiamen Xiangyu Free Trade Zone (XXFTZ, 廈門象嶼保稅區(qū)), covering an area of 0.63 square kilometers, was established in October 1992 with the approval of the State Council.
The Fujian Province (Longyan) Tombarthite Industrial Park is in the Changting suburbs of Cewu, adjacent to the new Changting railway station and bus terminal, and the Longchang Expressway, Ganlong Railway line, State Rd 319, and provincial Highway 205
Fuzhou Jinshan Industrial Park is at the northwestern end of Tainan Island in the Minjiang River, south of Fuzhou’s Hongshan Bridge, on 83 hectares of land.
The Fujian Xiamen Xiang’an Industrial Park was founded in March 2006 by combining the Xiamen Yinlu Foodstuff Industrial Zone (formerly Xiamen Yinlu High-tech Zone) and the Xiamen Xiangbei Industrial Park to produce a provincial industrial park with Fujian provincial government approval.
