China's first smart financing platform connecting government departments and financial organizations with small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) was launched in Guiyang, Guizhou province, on May 26.
Chinese tech giant Baidu Inc and the Guizhou government cooperated to promote the financing platform "Guizhou Finance Brain" to explore new ways of regulating regional finance with the help of the latest technology.

Using big data and artificial intelligence technologies, the financing platform integrates data from companies and financial organizations to help SMEs attain financing as soon as possible.
The platform can also make comprehensive evaluations for SMEs and regulate the management of the companies.
