As a national high-tech enterprise, ZTT Fiber Optic Co Ltd is a subsidiary owned by Jiangsu Zhongtian Technologies Co Ltd. Established in early 2003, it is a high-tech manufacturer that specializes in fiber optic production. It is located at 6 Zhongtian Road, Nantong economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 28,000m2. With a registered capital of RMB 230 million and an annual fiber optics production capacity of about 12 million core kilometers, its domestic market share exceeds 20 percent.

Among the total 350 employees of the company, there are 145 technical personnel with college degrees or above, accounting for 41.43 percent of the workforce; 43 science and technology management personnel, accounting for 12.29 percent of the workforce; 37 employees engaged in research and development, accounting for 10.57 percent of the workforce, and 26 with intermediate professional titles.
