NETDA held a price work meeting and mobilization meeting to create a “price honesty demonstration area” on the morning of March 12. Price work in 2012 was reviewed and summarized entirely and the main task this year was detailed at the meeting. The meeting honored the “2011-2012 annual price honesty unit of Jiangsu province” in NETDA. Attendees included: Zhao Yongnan, director and secretary of the Party committee of the Nantong price bureau, and Dong Kexin, deputy secretary of the NETDA Party working committee and vice-director of the management committee.

Dong Kexin highly appreciated the achievements made by the price bureau branch in NETDA. He said that creating a “price honesty demonstration area” is an innovation for routine work and an improvement of price work standards. The NETDA management committee attaches great importance to this work and has set up a leading group and office.

Dong Kexin required that departments involved in creation work should fulfill their tasks according to the division of labor. First, propaganda work should be implemented to create the correct environment and lead society to participate in creating work. Second, the number of demonstration units and price honesty units of Jiangsu province should be increased. Third, the influence of demonstration areas should be magnified. Shanghai Road and Xinkai Road near the Xinghu 101 demonstration area will be integrated into the demonstration area. Fourth, new breakthroughs should be found. Each department should combine models with reality. Fifth, review and inspection of stage work should be strengthened. Each department should promote implementation according to the division of responsibility.

Zhao Yongnan required the price bureau branch in NETDA to strengthen efforts, organization and exploration. Services should be initiative, flexible and innovative. Prices should be managed in a standard way to provide a good environment for economic and social development of NETDA.
