Registered in the Cayman Islands, Novast is a transnational specialty pharmaceutical company based on high and new technology. Starting from different business strategies, Novast owns the following three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Novast Laboratories (China) Ltd., Novast Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. and Novast Laboratories, Inc.. Among them, the former two subsidiaries are located in the Export Processing Zone of the State Economic and Technological Development Zone in Nantong, while the third one lies in Virginia, U.S.

It only takes 20 months for Novast to prepare, check and accept production facilities. Production facilities possess both a sealing treatment and production capacity for general pharmaceutical preparations. Its plants have reached international standards, and have successfully gained approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after submitting many applications for new drugs which will come onto the market in the United States.

The first product was approved for entry into the American market by the FDA at the end of 2010.
