Qingdao Publishing Group has invested 3 billion yuan ($490.4 million) to build the Digital and Media Center, which upon completion will become a landmark of Qingdao's digital and cultural industry.

Qingdao Publishing Group in the past years has integrated traditional culture with technology and has successfully transformed itself into a model corporation in the digital publishing industry.

The Digital and Media Center, a project under Qingdao Publishing Group, will provide visitors with library, online education, digital printing, digital museum, multimedia center and information center services. With a total area of 220,000 square meters, it could accommodate 50 million visitors.
