Hisense Group released its new product - Harry Mobile Phone in Qingdao on Oct 30, the first joint brand launched by Hisense and China Telecom.

Harry is a full screen mobile phone priced at 1399 yuan ($211), targeting the post-95s and 00s generation. The brand chose Zeng Shunxi, a popular post-95s actor, as its spokesman.

This year, full screen mobile phones are quite popular. However, the market is still in its infancy. Only a few high-end smart phones are equipped with full screen and their prices are basically around 3,000 to 4,000 yuan.

As Hisense's first full screen mobile phone, Harry has outstanding appearance, good performance and personalized features. It provides three colors including black, exquisite gold and coral blue. With an affordable price of 1399 yuan, the mobile phone is designed primarily for young users.

Fang Xueyu, general manager of Hisense's communication unit, said it is a trend for mobile phones to appeal to the global market and the younger generation.

"Harry is Hisense Group's international cartoon image. It has appeared in the World Cup, the European Cup, F1 and other major international events. Its positive and energetic image has been deeply rooted in the hearts of customers. Harry loves sports and longs for freedom, similar to the post-95s and 00s generation. This is why we chose Harry. I believe it will help to promote cooperation between China Telecom and Hisense Group," Fang added.

The front of Harry Mobile Phone is a 5.99-inch full screen and its back is a mirror surface shell. With double-sided 2.5D glass and laser carved bezel, the phone showcases visual beauty.

It should be noted that Harry uses an 18: 9 screen ratio. Compared to the conventional mobile phone's 16: 9 screen ratio it provides more display area. Whether playing games or watching videos, users can experience visual experiences beyond their imagination, better than that of other mobile phones.

Another selling point is its front camera with 16 million pixels and rear camera with 12 million pixels, which is a big plus for young users who love taking selfies.

Meanwhile, Harry is equipped with a Qualcomm 64-bit snapdragon eight-core processor, 4GB memory and 32GB large body storage. It is pre-loaded with an Android 7.1.2 system.

Harry is a dual-card-two-standby phone and supports fingerprint identification. It uses a 3400mAh battery. It allows users to watch high-definition videos for 10 hours or talk continuously for 16 hours. Its dual card standby time is up to 315 hours, so that users don't have to charge the phone every day.
