Three of Shanxi province’s enterprises -- the Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co, Shanxi Coking Coal (Group) Co, and Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co -- have been recognized as national demonstration units.
Shanxi province now reports a total of eight enterprises whose sales exceed 100 billion yuan each. These provincial companies have taken the lead in Shanxi’s development with a focus on increasing investment, improving their structure, and developing a new industrial framework.
The electronic toll collection system in Beijing is expected to be connected to those in Shandong and Shanxi provinces this year, allowing drivers to pay expressway tolls in those areas without stopping, the Beijing News reported on Wednesday.
