Hebei province held a forum on benevolence and morality for young people on July 19, aimed at the generation born after 1990. The forum focused on how to ensure young people’s wide participation in practical moral activities themed “Benevolence in Hebei”, and to promote socialist core values.
At the forum, some speakers reported their own exemplary deeds and Hebei Provincial Students Union called on young people from Hebei to learn from them.
The forum was jointly held by the Provincial Party Committee’s Publicity Department, Provincial Civilization Office, Communist Youth League’s provincial committee, and Hebei Daily Press Group.
Ai Wenli, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee and chief of Hebei Provincial Publicity Department said that socialist core values are recognized and practiced by young people, so all levels of the governmental department must act proactively to support the promotion of morality, so as to provide Hebei’s economic development and social harmony with strong moral support. |
