13-year-old Liang Daiwen from Liujiang county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, suffers from severe beta thalassemia. He has to go to the hospital to get blood transfusion and medical care every month. The money Daiwen's parents earn is almost all used on his treatment which costs 2,000 yuan ($333) a month.
