SIMI confirmed involving in the Mumbai terror blasts

NEW DELHI, July 13 -- The Home Affairs Ministry of Indian has confirmed the
involvement of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in the Mumbai blasts,
according to the NDTV Thursday.
SIMI provided local logistics for the deadly blasts that killed 185 people
and injured 714 others Tuesday evening, said the TV.
A probe has revealed that all bombs were placed in the luggage rack of the
compartments and timers were used to trigger the blasts.
The Mumbai police earlier claimed that the module comprises people with no
earlier criminal record and that the blasts were triggered to create communal
tension in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
