The Guizhou Final of Miss Tourism International China kicked off in Guiyang on April 9. The top three contestants will participate in the final national contest.
The Guizhou Final combined international fashion elements and ethnic features in Guizhou to demonstrate the theme of "Colorful Dreams, Beautiful Guizhou".
The top three contestants, Wang Yuting of the Dong ethnic group, Tan Shiyu of the Buyi ethnic group, and Gan Quan of the Han ethnic group, will move on to the final contest.
In addition, ambassadors of ethnic tourism from the Miao, Buyi, Dong, Shui and four other ethnic groups were also awarded in the contest.
Some awarded contestants will take part in activities to promote ethnic tourism in Guizhou, contributing to the development of Guizhou’s tourism industry, said the organizing committee.
