Cofferdam demobilished through controlled explosion

This picture captures a momoent when the last cofferdam
protecting the just-completed main wall of the Three Gorges Dam was demolished
through underwater explosion June 6, 2006. The controlled explosion used more
than 140 tons of explosives, enough to topple down 400 10-storey buildings. The
