Shaoshan Mao Zedong Relic Museum opens

Visitors read a copy of the manuscript of Mao Zedong's poem in the Mao Zedong Relic Museum in Shaoshan Village, the birthplace of late Chinese leader Mao Zedong, in Xiangtan City of central China's Hunan Province, Dec. 25, 2008. The relic museum opened on Thursday to mark the 115th birthday anniversary of the country's late revolutionary founder Mao Zedong. The relic museum covers an area of 19,000 square meters and displays 1008 relics used by Chairman Mao Zedong.[Xinhua]
