Golf/Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain/Hot springs/Hefei 6-day Tour

Route summary

Experience golf, the gentlemen’s sport;

Visit Yellow Mountain, a "World Cultural and Natural Heritage site" and one of China’s top ten scenic areas;

Soak in the hot springs at the Golden Peacock Spa Resort;

Visit Hefei – a time-honored city with a history of 2000 years, one of the top 4 garden cities in China and one of the top 4 science and education bases in China;

Taste the local food – Anhui style dishes;

Itinerary

Day 1 Hefei/Yuanyi Hilton Hotel

pickup and transfer to Yuanyi Golf Course for a fun and relaxing round of golf.

Day 2 Yuanyi Hilton Hotel/Lujiang

Visit Lujiang by bus in the morning, enjoy the [Golden Peacock hot spring], one of the largest hot spring groups in East China. The center offers a midair slide, an open-air rafting river, an artificial beach, an indoor SPA center, and a surfing beach. The center also offers more than ten kinds of hot spring pools, each with different characteristics including the Dead Sea hot sand bath, a slab bath, a medicinal bath and a flower and herb bath. Dinner will be served after the hot spring bath.

Day 3 Lujiang/Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain

After breakfast, visit the [Huangshan Mountain scenic area] (about 3hrs drive) by bus. The?Huangshan Mountain is attractive all year round, but is especially so in winter. During this season, the mountain is covered with snow, and the "squirrel", "golden rooster", "heavenly dog" and "swan" rock formations become "white squirrel", "white rooster", "white dog" and "white swan". Tourists can reach the summit of the mountain using the cable and then continue on foot to visit Shixin Peak, the North Sea, West Sea and other scenic areas.

Day 4 Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain/Tunxi Old Street

Watch the morning sunrise, and then visit Heavenly Sea, Turtle Peak, Jade Screen Pavilion, Guest-Greeting Pine and other attractions. Guests will have time to appreciate the silent beauty of pine trees covered in snow, mist strewn grass, and icicles hanging from every surface, as if in a world of crystal coral. Return to the foot of the mountain via a second cable car. Next, a visit to Yixian to visit [Hongcun ancient village] is on the agenda. After this go to the center of Tunxi to visit the live Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival on [Tunxi Old?Street], and receive a foot massage to dispel all that fatigue from mountain climbing.

Day 5?Tunxi district

Choose to enjoy a whole day playing golf, or take a rest.

Day 6?Tunxi/Hefei

Return to Hefei after breakfast, visit the memorial temple of Bao Zheng, an honest and upright official from the Northern Song Dynasty -[Baogong Memorial Temple], appreciate the picturesque landscape of the Baohe River. Finally visit the former residence of Li Hongzhang, a forerunner of the Chinese Westernization Movement [Li Hongzhang Former Residence] and have free time on [Huaihe Road Pedestrian].
