Dry yellow wine to be sold nationwide

Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co., Ltd, the country's only producer of dry yellow wine, announced on Tuesday that it would sell its dry yellow wine nationwide.
As one of the oldest type of wine in the world, yellow wine has a history of more than 5,000 years and is unique to China.
But the research into the manufacturing of dry rice wine only started in 2009. Only five famous yellow wine producers in the country including Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co have involved in its research and development.

As the sugar content of dry rice wine has to be much lower than that of traditional rice wine, and dry rice wine has to maintain the sweet taste of traditional rice wine, it has long been a knotty problem, according to Shen Zhenchang, secretary-general of the Institute of Chinese Rice Wine.
After years of research, Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co., Ltd has controlled the proportion of glucose, polysaccharides, oligosaccharides and increased the content of polypeptide in rice wine five folds.
As a result, the total sugar content of dry rice wine of Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co., Ltd is in line with the standards for dry rice wine and its taste is close to traditional rice wine, said Yao Sheng, president of Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co., Ltd.
Ever since the dry rice wine of Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co., Ltd was sold in the market on a trial basis on November 28, 2011, it has been acclaimed by dealers and consumers alike. It is a leading brand of the Chinese rice wine, Shen said.
He said the dry rice wine of Hunan Shengjing Shanhe Biological Technology Shares Co., Ltd is very likely to be a trend-setter in China's rice wine sector, for it has the historical and cultural connotation.
