Guifeng Mountain (Turtle Mountain), located in Yiyang county of Jiangxi province, is famous for its unique natural scenery, featuring stones that resemble turtles. It's a world natural heritage, world geological park, national-level scenic area, national 4A tourism area, national forest park and national educational base for patriotism.

Guifeng Mountain came into being in the late Cretaceous Period about 135 million years ago. It features typical Danxia landforms. Crustal movements have made it what it is now, full of natural wonders and profound cultural elements.

The entire scenic area covers an area of 136 square meters in total. The stones on the mountain are quite extraordinary.

One of the most famous spots is the 280,000-square-meter giant turtle-like stone. From afar, it looks like a giant turtle with its head raised.
After years of development, Guifeng Mountain has become a famous leisure resort combining tourism, health maintenance, conferences, religious worship, photography and exploration. Many tourists now come to the area to enjoy the magical sights.
