Municipal government officials visit electric vehicle project

Yang Shuping and Zhao Haiyan, secretary and vice secretary of Sanmenxia municipal CPC committee respectively, paid an official visit to Henan Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co to learn about the company’s battery electric vehicles project on April 7. Other officials of the municipality also participated in the visit.

Henan Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co is located in the Sanmenxia Economic Development Zone, where its battery electric vehicle project is beginning to take shape and the workers were busy tuning up machines.

In addition to the on-the-spot site visit in the company’s workshops and supporting equipment, Yang and Zhao were told about the company’s production arrangements. The company signed a cooperation agreement with Sichuan Auto Company regarding new energy automobiles, on March 24, according to the report.

The group showed great interest in the electric vehicles’ production and technology. They learned that as the production capacity is growing, the output of Suda electric vehicles in 2014 is estimated to be 10,000.

Yang recognized the project’s progress and said that he hoped that Suda could seize opportunities and take advantage of preferential policies. He also urged Suda to strengthen further cooperation with automobile enterprises, financial institutions and auto parts enterprises to finish the project on time. Zhao also pointed out that Suda should play a leading role in industrial transformation and upgrading.
