Shangri-La's first resort in China is welcoming its first family guests with a special performance by the resort mascot and rides on the slides at Adventure Zone, the first theme park on Hainan Island. Shangri-La's 180,000-square-meter Sanya Resort and Spa opened in Hainan province on Oct 24. The resort includes 340 guest rooms, the island's biggest recreation facilities and a host of restaurants and bars.
