Families from the US, UK, South Korea, Italy, Germany, Singapore and Taiwan experienced a 5-day Halloween trip to Sanya, the southernmost city on Hainan Island in Southeast China, a booming destination for families looking for quality time on a beach.

Partering with SDMICE, Childhood Footprints Club and Xiong liang, editor of Travel with Family in China, the trip was organized by Sanya Tourism Association under the instruction of the Sanya Tourism Development Committee.

Sanya Tourism Bureau launched the Facebook page Sanya Kids on Nov 1, aiming to provide comprehensive services and help to visiting families. The page also promotes campaigns, which offer opportunities for travelers around the world to check visiting information and join the action.

During the trip, foreign tourists commented on meals, accommodation, transportation, swimming, shopping and entertainment. Their comments will help Sanya Tourism Bureau improve in future. The Ocean Sonic Resort and Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay received positive feedback on home service, food and facilities. Nelly Min from the US commented that hotels in Sanya are very comfortable, clean and with reasonable prices. "The private beach is beautiful here and there aren't't many people. It is a great place to enjoy a peaceful time with your loved ones." she said.
