Interprovincial Yellow River Bridge nears completion

The Yellow River Bridge on the Yuncheng-Lingbao Highway had its two main sections connected in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, on June 20.

The 1,690-meter bridge features a two-way six-lane design and is a key bridge linking Lingbao in Henan province and Yuncheng in Shanxi province, as well as being a vital part of the Hohhot-Beihai highway network.

The bridge, which has received investment of 965 million yuan ($148.48 million), is designed for vehicles traveling at speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour. It is expected to be completed in October 2018.

The bridge will boost the economic and logistics cooperation between the?two cities.
