E-town to build intelligent transportation system

E-town will invest 80.65 million dollars on an intelligent transportation system (ITS) in the next five years.
China Transinfo and BDA Network Communication Technology Development Co recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on establishing the ITS for the development zone.
Intelligent transportation refers to applying information technology into transportation system to make going out more convenient for urban residents. For example, people will be able to inquire about bus transit or available parking lots on their mobile phones, as relevant information will all be uploaded.
BDA Network Communication Technology Development Co, a subsidiary of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, is the provider of information platform and services. It participated in the construction of the new district and aviation city in southern Beijing.
China Transinfo, based in Zhongguancun, is an advanced ITS product and solution provider in China. It has participated in the construction of intelligent public transportation systems in cities across China including Qinghuangdao, Weifang, Fuyang, and Kunming.
