BDA firm marks progress in semiconductor tech

The first batch of dry-process glue removal, dry etching and rapid heat treatment equipment produced by Beijing E-Town Semiconductor Technology Co was delivered to a customer on Oct 16, according to local media.
Based in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), Beijing E-Town Semiconductor Technology Co mainly provides dry etching, rapid heat treatment, millisecond rapid heat treatment and other equipment and application solutions for 12-inch wafer fab customers around the world, with complete intellectual property rights.
The company’s dry degumming, rapid heat treatment and millisecond-scale rapid heat treatment equipment are among the top three in the world in their respective segments, and their main customers include some of the world’s top 10 chip manufacturers.
In May 2016, the company acquired semiconductor equipment company Mattson Technology, one of the top suppliers of semiconductor equipment globally. Its business following the merger has rebounded rapidly, thanks to the joint efforts of staff members. In 2017, the company's revenues and profits both reached record highs.
