A culture festival and artworks show held this week brought more recognition and fame to the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture in Guizhou province.
Silver is synonymous with the Miao and Dong ethnic groups. The glittering metal is also the highlight of a unique multimedia drama in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture in the southeast of the Guizhou province.
Guizhou is home to 49 ethnic groups, including Han, Miao, Bouyei, and Dong, who together form a rich cultural tapestry that is reflected in their diverse languages, clothing, architecture, music and dance.
The enterprises organize various types of activities to promote their brand of liquor at the 2012 China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province, Sept 9-13.
As visitors to the second China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverage Expo sample the province's many varieties of liquor, they will also be getting a taste of the diverse ethnic cultures that produce them.
