Elle, Kohler hold design forum

A design forum was held by Elle Decoration magazine and Kohler as part of Beijing Design Week. The forum looked at how the design industry in Asia has evolved and how Chinese designers can develop. Designers Tony Chi, Patrick Leung and Joe Cheng took part in the forum.

Website offers luxury treat

Luxury sales site Mei.com held a three-day shopping extravaganza last month. Themed "Explore your own style", the event offered promotions for more than 2,000 brands. At the same time, it highlighted a VR fashion center in Shanghai for visitors to experience different styles through VR eye wear. Actress and style icon Carina Lau took part in the event.

Landi stages a Beijing runway show

Chinese womens wear brand Landi opened Beijing Fashion Week with a runway show. Its new collection combines Chinese aesthetics with Western tailoring, highlighting geometric patterns and simple silhouettes. The collection also includes a children's wear line.

Ecco showcases new backpack

Danish brand Ecco has introduced its Ecco SP Backpack as the highlight for the new season. Using Ecco Azalea Baja leather as the raw material, the bag offers a special texture and prints.

H&Moffers Asia collection

Fashion brand H&M has introduced a capsule collection exclusively for Asia. The collection features more than 30 womens wear pieces with simple designs and playful prints. The collection is available in selected stores in China.

Bershka reopens Shanghai store

Fashion brand Bershka has reopened its flagship store in Shanghai after a revamp. The store, is currently showcasing its "Made for Asia" line using singer Zhang Bichen. The new line is also available on Tmall, an online marketplace.
