Two parks, in which the giant rubber duck was on display over one month received over 200 million yuan ($33 million) in tickets and other income.

The giant rubber duck's appearance, the work of Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, was due to end on Oct 27 at the Summer Palace in Beijing. Organizers said that a series of countdown events will be held to say farewell to the duck.

The duck made its debut in Beijing from Sept 6 to Sept 23 at Garden Expo Park, www.ynet.com reported.
