Dead white shark appears in residential area

A dead white shark was transported to a residential backyard in Qingdao, Shandong province, on Tuesday, bandao.cn reported.

According to one of the owner's neighbors, the shark was bought as specimen, but others said it will be eaten because the owner ate one last year. He also shared the meat with his neighbors.

The animal is a protected species. According to authorities, white shark cannot be traded and they will investigate the case.
