Helicopter crashes in Upper Austria

VIENNA:A private helicopter crashed on Monday afternoon in Upper Austria, a state of Austria. The pilot was wounded with possible leg fractures, said the Austrian Red Cross.

It happened at about 5:30 p.m. on local time. For unknown reasons, the helicopter landed at the grassland closed to a forest. It was speculated that this was due to technical defects and to take an emergency landing.

The Volunteer firefighters had saved the single pilot in the helicopter.
